Review: Preciosa Ornela

Today I’d like to talk about PRECIOSA ORNELA: it’s one of the most prestigious European companies in the production of crystal beads and exports its products all over the world.

In the Czech Republic, the production of crystals dates back to the XVI century tradition of the Jablonec area. In recent times (2009) Preciosa Ornela, widely known as a leading manufacturer of crystals, joined the group

Preciosa Ornela offers a vast assortment of products: seed beads of all sizes, “farfalle”, drops, bugles, pearls of any shape and size, and the famous twin beads, just to make some examples. Moreover, for each type of pearls a really wide range of colours is available.

Up to the present, I’ve had the opportunity to test different products Preciosa Ornela, and I must say that I’m pleased with the quality of all of them. For example, the shape of seed beads and of twin beads is perfectly smooth and regular, which is a very important property for beading projects.

Ciao a tutti!

Oggi voglio parlarvi di PRECIOSA ORNELA, una delle società europee più prestigiose nella produzione di cristalli e che ad oggi esporta i suoi prodotti in tutto il mondo.

Nella Repubblica Ceca, la produzione di cristalli si rifà ad una tradizione molto antica, pensate che risale addirittura al XVI secolo all’area di Jablonec.

Di recente, nel 2009, entra a far parte del gruppo la Preciosa Ornela, già ampiamente conosciuta e leader nella produzione di cristalli.

La Preciosa Ornela offre un vastissimo assortimento di prodotti, che vanno dalle rocailles di ogni dimensione, alle farfalle, le drops, le bugles, perle di ogni forma e dimensione, fino alle ormai famosissime twin beads. Inoltre, per ciascuna tipologia di perle è disponibile una gamma davvero ampia di colorazioni.

Io ho avuto modo di testare diversi prodotti della Preciosa Ornela, e devo dire che ogni volta ne sono rimasta pienamente soddisfatta. La qualità delle perline è ottima: ad esempio, sia le rocailles che le twin beads sono estremamente regolari (caratteristica fondamentale per poter realizzare lavori di precisione).
